I havea jeep compass 4x4 limited and I love it. I done some easy to medium offroad and is easily done with the Compass. I don't expect my Compass to do extreme offroad since I don't plan for me, for that one goes to serious offroad models like the Jeep Wrangler. What's s serious off-road : if it has manual control of 4x4 modes more specifically: hi/low gear. I love my 2019 compass

Traction control on a jeep is stuuuupid. Mechanical systems are 5000x better than useless traction control. When you need to spin wheel to get the computer to wake up. You allready digged a hole. On street cars. Traction control make bad drivers even worse. Offroad vehicles only need mechanical diff locks and they will climb a tree.
